Stop the Insanity at UT
I decided to wage a social media campaign against political correctness at the University of Texas, and recently set up a Facebook page called “Stop the Insanity at UT.” In just a few weeks, the page has attracted over 1,000 followers, and has drawn the attention of Empower Texans’ Texas Scorecard (here), the higher education blog The College Fix (here), Legal Insurrection (here), The Daily Texan (the UT student newspaper) (here), The Chronicle of Higher Education‘s Daily Briefing, Instapundit (here), and The Washington Times (here). I was interviewed on Houston radio station KTRH (740 AM) (print here) and (on air here) (Bob Franz filling in for Jimmy Barrett, and Shara Fryer, on September 28, 2018), and by Chris Salcedo on WBAP (820 AM) and KSEV (700 AM) on October 9, 2018 (here). I contributed to an article in The College Fix on the cost of UT’s diversity bureaucracy (here) , and was interviewed on the podcast “Campus Roundup with Dr. Duke.” (here) Whew! And an excellent write-up by the James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal (here). And a nice plug from George Leef in National Review (here).
